I'm a tutor who is based out of Miami, Florida, where I enjoy painting, drawing, and playing the violin when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I am a graduate of the University of Florida, where I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education and communication, in addition to a minor in creative writing. As a tutor, I'm able to help students in a variety of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in math, reading, writing, and standardized test preparation, amongst other things. I've spent the past decade educating children from ages 4 to 16 as both a teacher and a tutor. I enjoy helping my students develop confidence in the classroom, and hope to instill a lifelong passion for learning in them. I firmly believe in positive reinforcement and utilizing fun and relevant materials to keep the learning environment positive and enjoyable for my students. I absolutely love the feeling I get when I see a student finally have a breakthrough moment in a subject area they've been struggling with for awhile. I believe that every student has the ability to excel in any class they put their mind to. My role as a tutor is to ensure that my students have the guidance they need to unlock their full academic potential.
